As far as Roofing Materials are concerned, there are more options in the marketplace than ever. Cost, ease of installation and appearance are all factors when choosing a roofing material.

Roofing systems generally fall into two general categories: 1) high-sloped or "pitched" roofs (mostly residential) and 2) low-sloped or flat roofs (mostly commercial). They both use different roofing materials.

Before making your choice, consider the life-cycle cost of your roofing material. Some materials, though much more expensive, require less maintenace and lasts longer than others.
